Badges?

If you hover your mouse over someone's Cruise Critic name you get a box with their details.   Does anyone know what the "Badges" are?

Hover your mouse over your @Essiesmom or my @casofilia and you will see what I mean.

 

Either here or to the right of any post.   It tells you how many posts you have made and also your "rank:

An example would be to have your cursor hover over *your* own name on the left side of your post.  You'll see the number of posts (perhaps rounded) plus the category (just another measure of the number of posts) and then... something about "badges"... but that seems to be blank all the time.  Or, at least, I don't remember ever seeing anything listed there.

Best guess is that it is a standard feature included with the forum software that the admins have not activated.

Since my iPad doesn’t have a mouse, I am not able to see this.  And I don’t feel like firing up my laptop.  EM

You don't have a cursor so that you can select a position to start typing something, somewhere?  So how do you start typing in a response "box", for example?

Okay, I'm bored enough to research this on the Invision Community site which is the software Cruise Critic runs on.

If you click / long tap the badge it will tell you what it means.

 

Rare means a badge is rare.
