Cabot Trail Tour/Sydney

We did it by car, ourselves, awhile back (12 years?)  Gorgeous area.  We enjoyed being able to pull off whenever we saw something worth stopping at:  A leather shop, a convenience store with lobster sandwiches on dark rye in the fridge, watching some golf shots, a few lighthouses.  Easy to do on your own with no one else setting the schedule

Take the Englishtown or Little Narrows car ferries.  Or both.  Such a cool experience

We drove there to the beginning of it as it is pretty far. Even drive there from Sydney is beautiful. But it is a long way from there so we only touched a little bit.

Simon, the owner of Sydney Cape Breton Taxi Tours has been very responsive and easy to work with in planning our tour

We are not doing the Cabot Trail but he does  offer tours there

Rental cars are scarce,this year

I do have a reply back from him. Be sure to check the spam folder!  I did ask about fall colors and a possible hike.

If you don’t mind me asking, what are you planning?
