We are booked for an April 15th 2023 cruise and want to know what is the best day tour of Tahiti.  Coming in early and staying at the Hilton.  Don't want to see the city want to experience the island.

Thanks All,

Terry & Gail

We had a great all day tour with Fabrice from Tahiti Eden Tours. He is a gracious host who knows the history and culture of the island very well. We did our tour on the day we disembarked since our flight was later that night. He stored our luggage while we toured and then dropped us off at the airport.  https://www.tahitiedentours.com/

We’re booked for a 4wd tour deep into the Tahiti interior (Papeno’o valley) in October. I like that it’s different than anything else we have planned on our cruise. The tour is offered through Moana Voyages.

If you’re interested in snorkeling - there’s actually some pretty astounding and unique snorkeling off Tahiti - check out Tahiti Lagoon Paradise. Benoit is an awesome captain and offers snorkeling over boat and airplane wrecks as well as Sea Turtle sites and coral gardens. It’s a completely private tour so he will adjust according to your wishes. He also offers whale watching.

A drive to the east side of Tahiti Nui is also great. You can see the blowhole and several waterfalls. There’s a large one on the northeast side of the island and a couple of smaller ones down the east coast with pools to soak in below the falls. There are also some beautiful black sand beaches.

Last, if you can get down to Tahiti Iti, there’s a pearl farm (search Tahiti Iti pearl farm). They offer a tour taking you out to the famous teahupoo wave break then to their farm where you can swim among the oysters and pick one out for yourself. Again, it’s a very unique experience!

We are from Bend, Oregon and are booked on the11 night cruise on the Paul Gauguin on July 1st. Anyone else booked for this same sailing???

Hi, we're from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we'll be on that cruise!  Can't wait.  Been researching some independent excursions on the islands while waiting for PG to open up theirs.
