I also received this email and am wondering if one must agree to a set amount they want you to gamble in the Casino.  It is intriguing and I would sure be interested if anyone books it.

I’m sure it’s legit, they base these offers on past gambling etc…they do not demand you gamble a certain amount on offered cruise…if you choose not to gamble, you may not receive any more offers.

possibly low capacity on this cruise itinerary is driving the offers.

I am not a gambler and may have gone to the casino once on a Celebrity cruise.

I received the same email and came right to CC to see if it was legit!

Same here.

When I clicked "Here" to select sail dates, I am re-directed to a form which has my baby-faced 26 year old son listed as the primary guest!!  Also there are spaces provided for additional guests whom I presume are not free.

At the bottom of the email, we are acknowledged as being lowly Pearl members with a whopping 40 Blue Chip points!

Me three.  The drop-down list of sailings only contains Solstice sailings out of LA from September thru March.  Guess there is very little demand for those?  Going to fill it out and see what happens!

While on the free cruise one may be required to sit thru a 7 day Celebrity timeshare sales seminar.

I got the email too.  Thought it was a scam and came here first 🙂

I am sure the upsell pressure to better cabins will be intense.

October cruise is listed starting at $599/pp US for an inside cabin on the website right now

We just signed up for this.  Only required to pay taxes and fees, along with gratuities.  My husband and I both received this offer, so we booked two cabins.  Planning to bring someone else along.. also, upgraded to aqua class for $70.00 per person.  Can’t beat it!

I got this email too. I responded, and they replied back the next day with a "Guest Booking Offer". What am I supposed to do next? Call them? Its my first time getting a Blue Chip offer, and I just don't know how it works!

I told y'all..no scam.  Enjoy this cruise....Wife and I looked at this itinerary a few months ago, the cabins are a good price, airfare from ATL was our kicker...not to be this spring.

These are not a scam.  Blue Chip is the name of the Casino program for Celebrity and Royal. You must have gambled at some point on a previous cruise. Lots of people get these offers and yes typically all you pay is taxes and port fees. But as others have said it’s a cruise-only rate, no drinks tips or Wi-Fi.

I have received these offers before and they are not scams. We are Blue Chip Club members and have taken advantage of them in the past. I too have received this offer and just booked this morning with an upgrade to an Aqua A1, no upsell but my choice for a nominal fee. Keep in mind this is cruise only and you do pay taxes and fees and select sailings are out of Los Angeles. Already checked my booking on Celebrity website and it’s there!  Great deal and no obligation to gamble.

I just received this offer for my father in law who went on one cruise in 2016 !! I started receiving emails for him last year.I have done some gambling in the casino but not a lot but did not receive the offer?? I will be doing some gambling on my Sept. cruise because I have a lot of OBC and want to cash some of it out to use at ports .I will have to check on my blue chip status because I honestly can't remember signing up .But my father in law doesn't remember either?
