Docking in Rome on 10-26-2022

Our cruise ends in Rome and arrives at dock at 5am.  We are going to Dublin and would like to fly out of FCO at 11am.  Is this a wise choice or should we rethink and take a later flight that is not a nonstop.  I have had two different opinions so far, one from Princess saying sure you will have plenty of time and the other from our travel agent at AAA who said dont do it.  Princess said their first transfer is at 6am and if we were on it, we would make it .  Thoughts?

If you can take a ship transfer at 6 AM you'd be at the airport by 7 (it's 66 km/41 miles, almost entirely on the autostrada).

Unfortunately, Ireland is not part of the Schengen zone so you'll need to go through passport control at Fiumicino, meaning you should allow three hours prior to the flight.

Arrival at the airport at 7 AM for an 11 AM flight is more than enough time.
