TheRabbit Posted August 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2022 Does Princess still have a golf lead on board that helps set up golf tee times in port for the LA round trip cruises to Hawaii?

Rare cr8tiv1 Posted August 11, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2022 Are you military? There are a coupe of good military courses on Oahu. There are a few public courses and expensive private ones. Hilo: Most of the courses are on the Kona side (too far for a day trip). Maui: Depending if you are ported in Kahului (not much) or Lahaina (a few near the hotels on the West end). Kauai: The better golf courses are on the North (Princeville) side of the island. Again, pretty far to go for golf. .

There are a few higher end courses in the area of the port on Kauai, but can't make a tee time for 1. I have used Uber and left in Hawaii, so getting there should be easy. Cash123 Posted August 11, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2022 We did a Hawaii cruise a few years ago and had an overnight in Maui so had no problem in getting a round in but I always regretted not playing The Plantation course at Kapalua, Im sure it was around $285 and we just thought that was topo much so we ended up playing the Blue Course at Wailie, it was a lovely course with fantastic views over the Pacific but not the same as playing a PGA tour course. TheRabbit Posted August 11, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted August 11, 2022 Plantation is $395 now, not a problem, but we already have other plans in Maui unfortunately.
