Lap swimming in Ensenada

Does anyone know where I can safely lap swim in Ensenada? Maybe at a gym or public pool? A 25 yard pool would be great! Also, any ideas on what to do with my passport/credit cards while my head is underwater? It's a great time to be robbed! (Nothing against Mexico, same issues here in Cali!) Thanks!
