Carnival suites without tub

We are senior citizens and would like to get a suite.  However, looking at the videos on youtube they seem to all have tubs.  It would be to hard for my Husband to step over, and the rails are on the wall. (too far away) Does anyone know if they have suites without a tub?

I face the same issue. Don't know about Carnival, but we booked a Holland America cruise. The ship we're on (Noordam) has walk-in showers in suites, and I think the newer ships may have most or all walk-in showers.

All of the Suites which I have booked on Carnival - Ocean Suite, Grand Suite, and Vista Suite on Spirit and Fantasy class have had tubs.

Do you have a Carnival PVP?  They could maybe find you a Suite with a shower if it exists.

Howdy @floatz and welcome back to the Cruise Critic message boards! I see it has been a while since you have posted on the boards.

Thank you for your new thread on the Ask a Cruise Question forum! 👍 However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising. Your inquiry is about a specific cruise line's suites and off topic there.

To help you out I have moved your thread to the Carnival Cruise Lines forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have sailed in Carnival suites frequent this forum and provide feedback here. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that will be of interest to you.

suggest you use the Follow feature on this thread or any other thread where you are interested in the replies. That way you will not have to go looking to see if there are replies on your Followed threads because they will all come looking for you as notifications! If you need more info on how to do it, please click the following: How to: Follow Topics & Forums (Subscribed Threads/Forums Info)

Hope this will be helpful and so glad to have you back aboard Cruise Critic!

Happy sails,

Host Kat
