Was looking at booking the Coco Beach Club for January.   It's 160 per person.  Do the prices ever come down on this?  Seems i booked it a year or two ago for much much less.

Thanks for any info.

I’m sure you did….prices have gone up from average to LOL to ROFLMAO in the past year. Most people remember $60-70 but I’ve read here that some cruise planners are listing over $300. Keep checking for price drops and good luck.

If other people continue to buy it at $170 it will never come down, that will be the new normal price.

If other people stop buying it at $170 it will drop in price.

Ultimately us cruisers collectively determine the price .

That’s been the lowest I’ve seen for my September cruise. I’ve been watching it since about February. It’s $199 now

We did it early this year. (Harmony OTS)  Paid $62 per head!!!  (That is a great price)  Even at that price and having taken full advantage of all the club had to offer while we were there. (10 am - 4 pm for us...) I think even at $62 if you could find it, it would be a hard pass.  There is just so much available on the island for FREE.  Plus, as you are in the club, you can't really go out and investigate other beaches and venues. (You CAN go freely around the island but then you are NOT at the club you paid for....)

Yes, you get lobster for lunch...but frankly, mine was so overcooked and ill-presented is was laughable...  Save the monies for the casino or tipping you staff.

My 2 cents - YMMV

Thanks all for your replies.  One day i looked , and it was 225, now 160.   I am going to pass on it unless it drops below 100.  We haven't been to Coco Cay for quite some time, so it might be more fun to explore.

Thanks all !

Like @twangster said, as long as people keep paying it, they'll keep charging those absolutely unreasonable prices.

If it was on the "old" Coco Cay, I'd see it being much more reasonable -- it used to be harder to find a lounger in a desirable spot, and the food at the buffet wasn't anything special.  But now that there are loungers EVERYWHERE and there are better food options available in more places than ever on Coco Cay, I really don't see any need to pay for the fancy Beach Club.

If it were $50, I might try it once, just to say I did.  But when there are a ton of options for free loungers, beaches, pool, and food all over the island, I just don't see the value in the Beach Club, and certainly not at the prices they're charging -- you can take a whole 4-day cruise for what they're charging for 8 hours in the beach club!!!

Ours was $58.99 pp Sept 2021...who knows if it'll ever come down to that again.  I wouldn't pay more than that anyway...not for just a less crowded venue and a lobster sandwich.  We'll just stick with Lagoon pool and the regular fare.

Cruises are booked up and everybody wants to travel.  Don't expect prices to be at 2020 or 2021 levels for a long time if ever.  I bought Coco Beach Club passes for Thanksgiving week at $135, which I thought was not bad.  But then that's our only shore excursion.

If you have not been to Coco Cay since the renovation/improvements, then I suggest not booking the beach club. There are so many wonderful complementary venues to enjoy, beaches, large swimming pool, buffet, snack shack’s, Captain Jack’s bar (live music). Then all of the normal activities.

enjoy.

This is SO true.  I barely recognized CC when we visited there in January!

It's $223 right now for the beach club on the Symphony at the end of December.... crazy! I wanted to book at least a day bed, as we've done that before and really like it but it's sold out... do you guys think they are truly sold out or will they open up more spots as it gets closer to sailing? or maybe even for Black friday?

$125 for my Indy sailing in 2 weeks.  A huge 10% off!  For my Oasis sailing in Dec, it is currently $161.  Also with 10% off!  LOL!  If by some miracle it drops below $100, I may book for the Indy sailing just so I can experience it.  It is just the two of us so would be nice to check it out.  But the point of this trip was to be a quick and cheap getaway.  Coca Cay has plenty of chairs and plenty to explore.  So i don't need it.  Since I only have 10 more days before cruise planner closes, I'll likely just do it the cheap way.  And that is perfectly fine with me.

Had a South Beach Cabana in February that was booked on Black Friday at $399.  Now that was a bargain for 6 people.

We paid $179 when the Harmony was there Aug 6. We thought it was worth it for a once in a while experience, but certainly not needed every time we go to CC. We are looking forward to the adults only area once that is completed.

When does RC post the options for booking a cabana or the Beach Club?  We are sailing in May 2023 and I'm excited to see our options.

Surprised that you're not seeing it. I'm seeing everything for my July 23' cruise.
