RoperDK Posted August 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2022 I am awaiting surgery and using a scooter. Haven't been to St. Martin since the hurricane and covid. Is there a place to get a good lunch and drink at the port? Also, if I don't want to take my scooter, is there a tram at the ship to get me to the port area? LB_NJ Posted August 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2022 The port itself is one of those standard cruise ports with the standard port restaurants and bars, duty free shops, etc. A couple of local vendors with T-shirts, etc. We were there once and took the ferry into town.

If one can make one short flight of stairs (with waiter assistance), then consider Holland House upstairs restaurant. Take their fabulous seafood sharing platter (2 pax) with a good bottle of Montr’ overlooking the bay and ships. Getting there Ship/Port operate golf buggies to/from. Ask to be taken to the cab rank, fare to Holland House $10 e/w Do book the lunch plater in advance. Enjoy… 1

My wife uses a scooter and loves it there. 1
