rodndonna Posted August 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2022 We have a cruise next month (Sept 25) and are currently "anytime dining" but thinking about changing to late fixed seating for 2. It doesn't appear we can do this ourselves - is that right? Do we have to call our PCC, or can the dining reservations phone number be able to do that? Also, since we are in the fence on whether to change, it we wait to decide until we board the ship, is there much chance we can get guest services to change it? Rare Mary229 Posted August 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Usually there is no problem getting late dining. On my sailings I have noted a lack of diners, the dining rooms are sparsely occupied. I suppose more people are opting for the lido and other venues
CruiserBruce Posted August 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Most ships have some sort of MDR reservations desk someplace on board when you get on the ship. Its been in the Lido pool area our last three cruises this year. Go there and ask for the switch. Agree with @Mary229...seriously doubt it will be a problem.
rodndonna Posted August 23, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Thanks. That is what I was thinking. We will just leave it and decide when we board. Was pretty sure late seating is generally not an issue. If we can't change it for some strange reason, no really a problem anyway.
