measter1984 Posted August 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2022 We are looking at booking a Northern Europe on the Sky Princess for next summer which will be our first holiday with a 15 month old boy in company with us! It is not very clear if the childrens' club will accept such young children (the website mentions 3 years plus ) for a play visit with parents and if there is some form of childrens' / swim nappy pool. Other cruise lines such as MSC and P&O do seem to offer this. Any information would be appreciated.
nini Posted August 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2022 Here is a link from the Princess website. It does not look like under 3 years old can be accommodated. https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/onboard/cruising-with-family/
bobloblaw007 Posted August 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2022 For kids under 3, you'll have to accompany the baby to play in the kids area. You cannot leave them with the staff.
skynight Posted August 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2022 Children must be fully toilet trained to use any of the pools on Princess. You will have to keep the child with you at all times. No babysitting for those under 3 years old. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/Onboard_Experience/Youth_Guidelines_Registration.pdf
nini Posted August 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2022 A different cruise line may work out better for you, as you mentioned MSC and P&O.

We had access to the play area and most times we were the only ones in it. As mentioned, you can't drop the child there, but it is open for use. And at times the Princess staff did offer a few activities. She got a couple of stuffed animals from that. Frankly, having her on the cruise wasn't an issue at all. Between us gparents and parents it worked out well. Now if it's just the parents, it'll be a different story for the entertainment... at least the theatre. Anyway.. enjoy.
