Sold out?

I've been toying with the idea of an upgrade to a verandah cabin for an upcoming Alaska cruise on the Zuiderdam. Although the HAL website shows that all cabins in that category are now sold out, a current promotion on Expedia.ca is offering guaranteed balcony staterooms for that cruise (among others). I assume that they have bought up or reserved a number of cabins, and am wondering if anyone might know at what point before departure they would be released if unsold ?

My HAL PCC told me that all staterooms are returned to HAL control from other booking agencies about 30 days prior to sailing date.
