Breezie68 Posted September 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2022 Has anyone ever used any sort of transportation from Port of Miami to Port of Palm beach? We're getting off a cruise on Nov 6 at POM and found one that leaves that afternoon at Port of Palm Beach. Google hasn't given me much information. I suppose I could uber, but if there's a shuttle, I'd be more likely to take that.
Rothko1 Posted September 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2022 I'm not aware of a shuttle service, but you could consider the Brightline. You might want to double-check me on this, but if you book the Premium ticket, you should be able to get picked up at the Port of Miami and then dropped off at the Port of Palm Beach. https://www.gobrightline.com/mobility
FOPMan Posted September 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2022 I agree. Assuming the train schedule is compatible, Brightline would be a very good choice for this transfer.
capriccio Posted September 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2022 The other alternative is to investigate a one way car rental.
Capt_BJ Posted September 10, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2022 Only thing I know sailing from Palm Beach is the old Carnival ship rebranded AGAIN (was Paradise Cruise Lines last year) now sailing as Margaritaville ...... already closed once by CG for safety issues and now offering free rides to military and first responders trying to get folks on board ..... do yourself a favor. They go to Freeport ..... ugh.
Corby114 Posted September 10, 2022 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2022 Contact Larry's Limos for a price quote. Company is highly recommended and popular with Cruise Critic posters. I have used them a few times myself and always satisfied with there service.
Corby114 Posted September 10, 2022 #7 Share Posted September 10, 2022 By the way, what ship leaves from the Port of Palm Beach. If it's the old Carnival ship that now sailing as the Margaritaville I would definitely pass on that. The United States Coast Guard had some serious issues with that ships seaworthiness recently. That is the only ship I am aware of. And I agree, that is a classic booze cruise type experience. Better off booking a 3-night out of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Rothko1 Posted September 12, 2022 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2022 A few of the high end or specialty cruise ships come in from time to time to the Port of Palm Beach, but not on a regular basis. And I thought only as a stop on a cruise, not as an embarkation location. The Margaritaville is the only ship that is based in Port of Palm Beach. By the way, the Port of Palm Beach is a misnomer. It is located in Riviera Beach, not Palm Beach. A vast difference between the two.
