NetworkGuy Posted September 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2022 We have only been on mega-cruise liners before and disembarking took forever. With the smaller ships of SS, how does long does it take? Are there specific groups, times, etc. In short, how does it work on a ship this size? Randyk47 Posted September 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2022 The procedure is not a whole lot different but it takes a lot less time.
Rare Lois R Posted September 13, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2022 What Randy said😀 it really is the same process, colored tags you put on your luggage and have the luggage outside your door the last evening of your cruise. A letter comes along with the tags telling you what time your group will be disembarking. The BIG difference is how few guests there are compared to the mass market ships. So yes, the process is quicker.
TER777 Posted September 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2022 On my two recent cruises, I found that my group for debark was called a good 15-20+ minutes earlier than the time given. Also, one currently has to vacate the staterooms by 8am and wait in a public area.
