Rare curlybelle2 Posted September 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2022 We are cruising this Feb. and would like to explore Old San Juan. But our son can't walk very far. Is there some trolleys or golf cart available? Or any other options or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,

#1TravelMom Posted September 17, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2022 San Juan will be difficult with mobility challenges. One fort has steep ramps/steps, the other has a loooong walkway to the entrance. Many of the streets are cobblestone/brick and uneven with hills and traffic. Would a stroller or adult stroller(unsure of son's age) be an option? There is a beautiful walk outside the city wall along the water with a beautiful tree-lined path and fountain leading to it.

Thanks for your reply. Our son is an adult. He has cerebral palsy and autism. He can walk but not distances. My husband and I has been to OSJ years ago. We were hoping for a new way to visit around OSJ, maybe a golf carts or trolleys. We might just need to rent a wheelchair. Thangs again.
