hopelea Posted March 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Just talked to Seattle Town Cars and they said that they would pick us up at the airport and take us to our downtown hotel, Grand Hyatt for $40. Is that good? I don't really want to wait for a grayline bus. Thanks
bluedevil72 Posted March 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2006 We used the same company last June and it worked for us. We called them as soon as we got our luggage at SeaTac and they were there within three minutes. We were actually going to the NCL pier, but they're in the same general location. It was about a twenty-thirty minute trip. We paid $35 and from what I've read on this board, that's the average rate.
hopelea Posted March 4, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Thanks! I am sure we will use them. I bet the price went up a little because of gas prices!! It sounds faster than the grayline bus.

im4clowns Posted March 5, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 5, 2006 that sounds like a deal. there are 8 of us so 80 for 2 towncars wouldn't be bad. i think i will check with them. thanks for the info

tangerinebunny Posted March 5, 2006 #8 Share Posted March 5, 2006 Do you make reservations ahead of time or just call from the airport?
hopelea Posted March 5, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted March 5, 2006 I over plan everything. I would not be able to arrive at the airport and call. What if they didn't have something available? That would stress me out too much. I have to book as early as I can for peace of mind  . I am making reservations today for our May 2006 trip. bluedevil72 Posted March 5, 2006 #10 Share Posted March 5, 2006 We booked online in March for a June trip and then called a few weeks before just to make sure. I realize that's way in advance but it was done and was something I didn't have to worry about.
hopelea Posted March 5, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted March 5, 2006 I just booked our rental car at the pier in Seattle for June 3. The town car is the last detail I must take care of. Then everything is planned and booked and I can relax  . I hate that I am such a planner. I wish I could just go with the flow, but I can't!!!! :D
