Fish42 Posted October 8, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2022 You know how it goes...I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere. Sorry about this, I looked...really. I think Club Class cruisers get a complimentary Specialty Dining on the first evening, but maybe only on some ships? Is there a way to make the reservation prior to embarkation? Thanks! Papa Yoda Posted October 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2022 Suite passengers get a Specialty Dining on embarkation day on cruises longer than 5 days, CC Minis do not. Yes, you can reserve Specialty Dining through the App. If you're in a suite, it will show no charge for first night dinner if eligible (>5days) after going through the whole booking process. Fish42 Posted October 8, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted October 8, 2022 Thanks Yoda! In the app it looks like it's going to charge you, but then at the very last line I'm getting a dining credit for the full amount and the net is zero. Nice work... I got off the Royal after a 3 nt cruise 2 weeks ago and we not only had the complimentary suite dinner on the first night, we had a formal night as well.

We got it for a 5-night cruise. What Princess says and what they do are often 2 (or 3) different things. 1
kluv2cruz Posted October 9, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2022 But it’s a suite benefit, not a club class benefit, right?
EDDY0827 Posted October 9, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 9, 2022 First night specialty dining is a full suite perk, not a Club Class perk.

Perhaps it was one of the booking perks. We have a free specialty dinner on our upcoming Sapphire cruise. I was able to book it through the app.
Fish42 Posted October 9, 2022 Author #10 Share Posted October 9, 2022 I did mis-label the post, it is a suite class perk.
