Flatbush Flyer Posted October 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2022 Does anyone know for sure if the HDMI inputs on the newer Samsung TVs on either or both R and O ships are functional (or disabled)? And if they are functional, can the television’s “input” be switched using the provided remote (or manual control on the TV set itself)???
BarbaraM Posted October 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2022 We tried when Insignia was first renovated -- disabled.
floridatravelersforlife Posted October 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2022 If you have a home remote for a Samsung, bring it with you. Most times it will work, but you have to find the hdmi input and have a cable to connect. A problem if it's wall mounted and there is no side input. Alternatively try the following: Press ‘CC’ button on ship remote (above green button) Press ‘Menu’ button on remote (just below yellow button) Pops up screen on TV Scroll down to “Support” Scroll down to “Source List”

undertone Posted October 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Very keen to hear from those who have been on the renovated ships on this topic. We typically load several programmes into our iPads and connect them to the tv via an hdmi cable to watch in the late afternoons prior to the evening activities. It always worked fine in the old TV set up but those weren’t wall mounted…..
