loanshark Posted November 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2022 Generally the 2nd night, and the night that falls before the last night of the cruise. Example - If you depart on Saturday, and return Sunday, expect the formal nights to be Monday and Friday. 1

The Teppan reservation is on 2 days before end of cruise. Hopefully we can make one of these without a conflict. It's confusing....Day 1 is listed as embarcation, and Day 9 is listed at end of cruise /return. I think we're ok on the steak, but not sure about the last one. Thanks again. The day you are booked for the steakhouse should be the first cruise elegant night if I’m understanding your post correctly. Lobster night is now on the 2nd cruise elegant night so you won’t have to miss that.

Regarding Day numbers: The day you step onto the ship is Day 1. The next day is Day 2, obviously. So the day you step off the ship is day (x+1), where "x" is the number of nights you cruised. Your first sea day will be on Day 2 for that cruise, which is almost certainly the first Elegant night. The second elegant night could be the second last sea day before you return to port, which I think would be the night before Turks&Caicos. But it could also be the night you visit T&C. I tried Googling "Carnival 8 day aruba elegant nights" and didn't find anything too definitive - they were all different itineraries from yours (which matches mine for later this year). But I didn't go much past page 3 of the results... I am curious too...
