denims Posted March 6, 2006 #27 Share Posted March 6, 2006 Ok now i'm totally bewildered. I think all this discussion, and it's all been good, has left me with the feeling that we all need to be microchipped like my dog!I need a holiday! Take a cruise!!! mycruz Posted March 7, 2006 #28 Share Posted March 7, 2006 It is a good idea to have at least copies of confirmations etc. in case you need them. When we were on our Baltic cuise last summer, I realized the night before arriving in St. Petersburg Russia that I had forgotten a document from our tour operator to show to Immigration. I thought no problem, I have it in my email, I'll just copy it in the Internet Cafe....unfortunately, the Internet was down all night. I got very little sleep thinking we wouldn't be able to get off the ship! Thank goodness we were with others that had their copies and all our names were on it. So, moral of the story, good idea as long as you can connect!
Mmm...coffee! Posted March 7, 2006 #29 Share Posted March 7, 2006 This is a great idea but one thing to keep in mind is that if you're onboard the ship, you won't have access to a USB port unless you bring your own computer. My guess is that if it's an emergency, you can get someone at guest services or in the computer center to print it off for you.
