Rare babs135 Posted November 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2022 We will be on the Queen Victoria in December. Is there any where other than the Lido where I can get free coffee during the day? Just thinking that if I'm in the theatre and want a drink between talks it's a bit of a trek up to deck 9. majortom10 Posted November 16, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2022 To my knowledge there is nowhere else to get free coffee apart from Lido everywhere else it is payable.
BigMac1953 Posted November 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2022 The only other place on QE/QV is the Grill Lounge, or on QM2, the Grill Lounge and Concierge Lounge.
Underwatr Posted November 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2022 On QM2 there's a free coffee/tea station downstairs from the entrance to the Illuminations theatre/planetarium. It's where the daily planetarium tickets are distributed.
Lanky Lad Posted November 16, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 16, 2022 Just a thought, but depending on where you cabin is, it might be an option to go back there and made a coffee.

I was going to suggest that location, but it was closed in December. And I seem to recall it still being closed in July. It's a spot I relied on, so I hope it's eventually brought back. And I was following this thread to, hopefully, find its equivalent on the QV.

NancyDrew1953 Posted November 17, 2022 #11 Share Posted November 17, 2022 Currently on the QM2, no coffee or tea offerings in the area behind Illuminations. Asked crew when this would resume, responses were no current plans to resume. In fact, that area is looking a little forlorn. So only place for free coffe or tea in the King’s Court (aka the buffet) or one’s cabin.
Covepointcruiser Posted November 17, 2022 #12 Share Posted November 17, 2022 Don’t they still have specialty coffee at Sir Samuel Cunard area along with offering a few sandwiches? This was available pre COVID and I hope it will be available in December.
Underwatr Posted November 18, 2022 #13 Share Posted November 18, 2022 Yes, but there's a charge for the coffee at Sir Samuel's.
Covepointcruiser Posted November 18, 2022 #14 Share Posted November 18, 2022 So glad it’s still on offer in that location. We will have drinks up to $12 included so coffees won’t be a problem.
Minnie29 Posted November 19, 2022 #15 Share Posted November 19, 2022 I am considering purchasing the $10 coffee package on my upcoming QV cruise. can anyone help me out with prices for coffees if you were buying them without a package? For instance how much is a regular latte and do you then have to pay a gratuity on top of that price? If I consumed 2 lattes each day would it be more sensible to buy the package? Thank you
