KyleClark Posted December 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2022 Has anyone booked with a travel agent and then booked an excursion or package on the NCL website? I did, and now I need to cancel one of them but NCL is telling me that I have to have my TA cancel it. Anyone have experience with this?

My understanding is that if a TA makes a reservation, "they own it" and NCL can't do much with it. In any event, rather than wasting more time trying to figure out whether NCL can cancel your excursion, or if not, why not, etc., why not just call your TA to cancel it? Then it's done. GC That is what I am doing. i am just trying to understand why I can book something with NCL (outside of my TA) but I cannot cancel it or change it with NCL. Any changes have to go through the TA.

Only changes that affect the fare paid for the cruise. You can still book dining reservations etc., without a TA involved.
