pittnh Posted December 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2022 It has been over 10 years so my memory has faded, plus I don't think I spent much time there the last time. Are they cash only? Do they pay winnings in cash, or does everything go on your cruise account?

Baowen Posted December 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2022 They pay winnings by ticket which you can cash or put in another machine. Cash or room charge is used at the table and at the machines
LeeW Posted December 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2022 Most ships let you do a room charge but you can't put winnings back into the room account. You take a ticket out of the machine to the cage, get cash, and then you can reimburse your room account at Guest Services if you wish.
pittnh Posted December 11, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted December 11, 2022 what are the table minimums usually for blackjack? I remember they used to have "happy hour" specials where they would offer $3 minimum hands. Curious if they are still doing this. Also do they us a shoe or continuous shuffle machines? I'm not a card counter but was wondering as it seems many casinos are going away from shoe games

I'm not a card counter but was wondering as it seems many casinos are going away from shoe games $10 minimum and they do $5 hands on sea days in the mornings like at 10 or 11 am. They still use shoes.

When you are paid, it is in the form of a ticket (slots) or chips (tables) that can be turned into the cashier for the cash. You can then apply to your cruise account if you wish. 6 hours ago, pittnh said: what are the table minimums usually for blackjack? I haven't seen a $5 table for at least 4 years. Beth
Rare VernRDH Posted December 12, 2022 #9 Share Posted December 12, 2022 We play roulette, always $5 minimum. Haven't played blackjack in a while, so can't say what those minimums are. Service fee applies if you take cash off your card at the tables.

Although I think a lot of land based casinos are trying to do that as well.
