wrk2cruise Posted December 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2022 Listed under Not Covered For Trip Interruption only: • Travel arrangements canceled or changed by a Travel Supplier unless the cancellation is the result of Severe Weather or an organized strike affecting public transportation, or unless specifically covered herein
Babr Posted December 30, 2022 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2022 It likely depends on the documented reason for cancellation. If it sates weather as the cause, the cardholder may have a claim; however, if the cancellation was the result of equipment or staffing shortages, probably not. The same is true for any other travel policy. It depends on wording in the policy and the stated reason for cancellation.
Rare NMTraveller Posted December 30, 2022 #6 Share Posted December 30, 2022 Hmmm. Interesting. Southwest claims the issue was weather. However it was most likely their outdated computer system.

I had a flight canceled in beginning of Aug. They pawn if off to another company. Every time I give them what they want, they come back with a new request. very frustrating and time consuming Edited December 30, 2022 by SJ1_
