ringers0815 Posted January 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2023 Are taxis readily available at Yokohama's Daikoku cruise pier or do we need to pre-book a transfer? We are going to a hotel in Yokohama and all the private transfers seem to be for hotels in Tokyo.
BruceMuzz Posted January 5, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2023 There may be a few taxis available. Note that Daikoku Pier is primarily a cargo pier. There is a subway station there that can take you to Yokohama or to the Haneda Airport area. There are also city buses that shuttle the Cargo workers between Yokohama and the Cargo Pier. chubbypiggy Posted March 10, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2023 Recently I read a post on Cruise Critic that said: "Before the Covid pandemic, Princess did provide shuttles between Yamashita Park(near Osanbashi) and Daikoku Cruise Terminal on embarkation and disembarkation days". Anyone knows if if this arrangements are still available? If so, I can walk to the Osanbashi pier from my hotel (less than 10 minutes), then take the Princess shuttle from there to the Daikoku cruise terminal. Thank you. ROCruiser Posted April 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2023 People from our sailing in March said it was available but we were not aware of it and took taxis. Check first because there are some sailings on Diamond Princess that will dock at Osanbashi in April.
