Rare countess5 Posted February 1, 2023 Author #76 Share Posted February 1, 2023 Good Morning from Day 2 sea Day! We are currently heading South West at 16 knots. Yesterday Captain had use moving at 19 knots. Seas have been calm but this morning a bit more motion, but still fine. As shared yesterday was a sea day where we woke up and enjoyed breakfast on our deck. We were visited by our flying friends. DW spent two hours arranging and unpacking since we will be here for 19 days. Then it was off to the Sunset Bar for mimosas and connect with our friends. What a way to spend the day than just feeling that warm wind blow by and look out over your huge backyard. I said to my friend this beats looking out my window at the cold at home. we grabbed some pizza and sandwiches from Oceanview and ate up at the Sunset Bar. There was a tone to select from. I have to say the pizza has been very good. We then headed down to a table at the Oceanview balcony where we learned a new rad game called Golf! I am a huge golf fan so we were introduced to the table version. Our friend actually designed and made the playing cards. It’s a game you can drink while playing since it isn’t a hard brain challenge. 😂 Last night was another Tuscan dinner. However we decided to try the World Class Bar instead of the Martini bar. It was interesting. All drinks except two were $15 so covered under the premium package and then 2 were $20. Tuscan did another great job last night. The Decoy Cabernet Sovereign was flowing. The others also ended with a lemonchelo. It was so good they asked to see the bottle so they could buy it and it came out to be the exact one we always buy at home! Last nights entertainment was a comedian which did a nice performance. So today is another sea day. Finishing up breakfast then off for another day of relaxation! Cheers!

There are so many negative complainers on CC these days, particularly on The Celebrity boards. Now i’m remembering why we love cruising! As I’ve said before, not everything is perfect on every cruise but in our experience there are always more positives than negatives! Thanks for doing this…look forward to your future posts. And go Eagles (from a very sad Bills fan)! Life is good on this cruise and we haven’t felt any lack of service, food or entertainment. We still get the chocolate candy placed on our pillow at night! 😂 13 hours ago, brzymom said: I'll be following you closely on this cruise, and joining you on the next leg!! Enjoying your posts immensely. Not really a football fan, but since my DDIL is from PA, not far from Philly, we are def rooting for the Eagles!! Big Super Bowl party is planned for the main Theater. Food, football and drinks! You may of read that there is an individual on board who broadcasted for the Cowboys hosting the event. 😳 Go EAGLES! Cheers!
Spif Barwunkel Posted February 1, 2023 #78 Share Posted February 1, 2023 Good morning, countess. Nancy and I really enjoy the World Class Bar. Much quieter and low-key atmosphere when one wants it that way. If you have not already, try the Zacapa 23 Old Fashion. No matter your liquor preference, it just might spoil you. Only at the WCB. Hello to Barbie, Walt & Bev. Y'all have fun. That is my southern accent at its best.

Rare asnaleah Posted February 1, 2023 #83 Share Posted February 1, 2023 We were on Silhouette in December. Had wonderful drinks at World Class. Very nice Tequila choices.
Rare countess5 Posted February 1, 2023 Author #84 Share Posted February 1, 2023 Back to the cabin, there was a time change last night so an hour ahead. Getting ready for the first Chic Night, dinner at Murano. Today was the Captains Welcome party out at the lawn club. I have to say they did a really nice job. The food was done well and of course how do you get hurt with drinks ( well I guess you can get hurt if you have enough of them). There was one of the entertainers that played the guitar and sang. The officers were very nice. We spent a lot of time with Dan the hotel director. He hails from Glasgow Scotland. Very nice guy. The event was very well attended. After it concluded we went to the Sunset Bar but a lot of the chairs were used at the event so I walked back down to help the staff bring a couple up to the Sunset. One of the staff was talking to a lady who was questioning when the Captains welcome was starting. When he said it was over she didn’t get it so I asked if she had turned her clock ahead the night before, well you can imagine the look on het face. Her IPhone had not changed. 🙄 Technology! Winds were 35 miles an hour for the start of the day. A little later in the day it calmed down, however during the windy part of the day they had a putting contest. After an afternoon at the Sunset Bar we headed to Al Bacio for coffee, I enjoyed a French Kiss! Man does that place get hit between 3-4 PM. The masses were swarming! Wally the ladies say hi back at ya! Oh and before I forget, Ernesto is the best! He doesn’t let a drink get low. Very focused and great service! It’s off to get ready for dinner. Will report back tomorrow morning. Internet has been a bit suspect and that’s with Premium. Not sure how people are making it with basic. Cheers! 3

Very nice Tequila choices. We enjoyed our drinks, well I should say some of us did. Not on the list for returning at this point. Trying something that we have never tried before dinner, The Ensemble Lounge. There is a Kyiv String Duo playing. I have never been a fan of the lounge, I think because how dark and closed in it is, but trying something new. Cheers!
39august Posted February 1, 2023 #86 Share Posted February 1, 2023 I so enjoy the duo's great music. Very talented. They are called Sound Wave. Don't know how much longer they will be on board. They have been on EQ at least since last July.
Rare vickykay Posted February 2, 2023 #87 Share Posted February 2, 2023 What was that frozen drink with all the different colors/layers? Looks yummy! Also, what time did they hold the Captain’s welcome party? Thanks.

By the way I didn’t share the top tier cruisers. The couple had 6,000 points! 🙀. Amazing. They didn’t look that old ether so must cruise in suites and sail a lot! Rare countess5 Posted February 2, 2023 Author #90 Share Posted February 2, 2023 Good Morning from St Kitts! Sunny day with a few clouds. Started our evening last night in the Ensemble Lounge. Kyiv String Duo were playing. Place was packed. We just found a place for the 4 of us to sit. Music and cocktails were good along with the service. Heading over to Murano for dinner. Cooking up desert. The meal was good for all. A few things done differently from the past but not enough to take away from the experience. We have it cheerled two more times. Had a great wine that we enjoyed last year. Guys if you want to impress the date, the ***** has a heart on it! Lovely! After dinner sat in Ensemble Lounge and listened to NightLights Duo. Enjoying a little Johnny Walker Black neat! As I shared last night was Chic Night, but have to say people are just not dressing anymore. I know we have read this more times than enough but it is a dying event. They have gone from Formal nights (back in the day) to Chic night, what’s next? There were “some” tux’s “some” suits ( I did have a sports coat and tie on) and the ladies by far dressed more than the men. Come on guys step up for the ladies! On the way back to the cabin there was dancing in the grand foyer. It was bed time for us. Today is walking around the port, we have done full island tours before here so just taking it easy. Will post some pics later on. Cheers! ` 1

txtechmk Posted February 2, 2023 #92 Share Posted February 2, 2023 Thanks for writing this wonderful review! I would LOVE nothing more than to do a B2B cruise, and even more a B2B2B cruise! I have to settle for 12-15 night cruises, as I can't keep my DH away from the golf course longer than that. 😏. Can't wait to read more of your travels. Looks like a lot of Eagles fans on here.........but I have to root for the Chiefs......sorry about that!
Stratford1950 Posted February 2, 2023 #93 Share Posted February 2, 2023 We were on the Equinox in May of last year and it was the best meal any of us had ever had on a cruise ship. Murano was the restaurant and if we ever sail Celebrity again that will be a reservation for sure.
boxkite Posted February 2, 2023 #94 Share Posted February 2, 2023 Countess5, following along on your great cruise report. However, like txtechmk, will be rooting for the Chiefs. We will have to try that Bob Marley drink during our upcoming Caribbean cruise in March.

Rare countess5 Posted February 3, 2023 Author #98 Share Posted February 3, 2023 OK I’m in relax mode! Thought we were meeting friends at 9:40 for the excursion but it”s 10:40. We don’t dock until 10 AM, how in H*** are we going to meet at 9:40 get off??? 🤔 Scratching head! Yesterday was just walking around the port and then back to the Sunset Bar for a beer and lunch. The shop people were very nice! The new trick to get you into the store is a free charm! No Thank you. Some shots of yesterday: The Old Gal is still looking good. I always Love docking in St Kitts. It s a green beauty! Reminds us a bit of Hawaii. Of course below pic is Nevis Here’s St Kitts Back on Board and hit the Sunset Bar for a beer and some great conversation. Ernesto was on it right away and then Dwi came along and assisted Ernesto. Were we drinking that fast??? 🤔 😜 Took two to handle us? Sail away was at 4 PM and we were off to Grenada and getting ready for dinner. First stop! Martini Bar! 🍸 I didn’t say you wouldn’t see drink porn! Then off to Le Petit Chef,,,,, I know once you’ve seen it, one and done, but this was our 4th time. Never have seen the Same show twice. The one from last night was debuted on the Beyond. Only one chef but fun anyway. Again good service and good food. 078965FA-D80A-4D52-8E80-0161217023D0.MOV Showtime! A really good magician. Ryan Joyce. I really liked his delivery and magic. I Love Love Magic and he delivered. How they do it I’ll never know. There was that one show on TV back in the day where the magician wore a mask and shared the secrets. After that it was off to bed to rest up for the tour in Grenada. Cheers! 2

What was on the menu? You will have to check on your sailing, each one is different. There is a seafood one and then there are steak and last night was a short rib. It’s a nice experience. There has been pros and con. Like I said in the beginning food is subjective but the experience is nice. Cheers!
