LoriLoriLori Posted February 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2023 WAS $4,385 USD* STARTING FROM $1,849 USD* AVG. PER PERSON All the way through booking it states inside stateroom is $1,849 USD yet at the end it's giving me the 4,000 dollar price. What am I doing wrong? I did not elect to pay gratuities, any extras, or any upgrade at the time of booking. Thanks.
magnolia888 Posted February 6, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2023 (edited) What is the price breakdown? How much are taxes and port fees? If the base fare is $1849x2, that is $3698 for two. Are the taxes and port fees $687? That does seem high. Are you going somewhere with unusually high port fees? Are you trying to book as a solo and have to pay the solo supplement? lifeisrealygood Posted February 6, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2023 Agree. The $1,849 per person gets you to around $7,400, and the port fees and vacation protection plan would get you to the $8,000. On the final screen it gives the breakdown, The first line, the cabin fare, should show the 1849 for each of you, then show all other expenses arriving at a total.

Add in taxes and port charges of $150pp which is pretty normal and I get to $4000 as a total.
