Rare Analog187 Posted February 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2023 Hoping to book my first SD cruise in the next few days. I was wondering if the price of the cruise is the same no matter where you book or if the prices can change if you have a TA, use a website, book direct, etc. Thanks
Zimmy Posted February 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2023 I think that the price is the same wherever you book. Some travel agents offer perks to their clients, but not a reduction in the price of the cruise.
garysarah Posted February 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2023 Yes, price is the same. TA may offer you a $250 spa credit. I've done it both ways. Now I let my TA handle it all.
Host Dan Posted March 27, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2023 I swear by my travel professional! I always get some sort of perk, and always the best service!
JES4845 Posted April 4, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) One thing to keep in mind of course is the onboard booking savings, which can include your TA for them to get credit for the booking. The 15 percent off is a nice savings, not to mention the additional 10% off the second leg of a back to back (or back to back to back if you really want to stay on for awhile!). I also like to keep an “open booking” on file in case a new voyage comes up between sailings ($2500 fully refundable deposit for a 10% savings once used for a specific voyage).
