Imagination scrapping update

Carnival Imagination, which was beached in September 2020 after being sold for scrap, finally had her bow cut in February 2023.

 

Demolition on Fantasy and Inspiration, which for a while were side-by-side with the Imagination, has been complete for over a year (closer to 18 months in Fantasy's case).

I saw this too. It is interesting that they waited so long. At the rate they were going with scrapping all the ships except Imagination, it almost seemed like Ecstasy would be gone first.

I think they were using Imagination as a hotel of sorts for the scrapping crew.

Now they have to scrap their home from the past three years 🤔

Well they should have it down to a science by now, scrapping Fantasy-class ships anyway.
