If you wanna see how a couple can do a solid cruise review, go check out his fine work Truth!! But you are doing a great job and I enjoy your reviews both solo and with B. Hubby and I are very boring cruisers but love every minute of doing nothing😂. I really appreciate reading all the different reviewer styles and cruising vicariously.

Rare TxTeach79 Posted March 15, 2023 Author #779 Share Posted March 15, 2023 Lying here winding down…. One of the reasons this cruise isn’t very port focused for me is because our next one really is… here’s the next voyage, late may with @HelloItsMeB on Pride, Barcelona to London now I’ve been a little nervous along the way with this one because it’s the first cruise back from a month long drydock in Cadiz following her Transatlantic at the end of April. We all know how that can go. That said, everything seems a go, Carnival is still selling it, John Heald assures it’s a go, and here’s hoping. We have flights at hotels locked in, so now we just hope everything goes swimmingly with the drydock (unlike what happened with Miracle last year… but that was a two week job)

Probably my favorite Conquest Class feature This is one of the big reasons that we love Conquest Class ships. Deck 3 promenade is a great place to escape. Also like the stadium seating around the pool. Just a well thought out ship. This has been a great trip so far. Enjoying reading this. 1

Rare sparks1093 Posted March 15, 2023 #785 Share Posted March 15, 2023 I noticed that @TxTeach79 didn't answer @HelloItsMeB's question about doing Cruise Critic wrong. Very, very smart man. 1
Rare TxTeach79 Posted March 15, 2023 Author #786 Share Posted March 15, 2023 Cabin wifi has not been playing nice since about 10:30p last night. Still sluggish and can only open certain things. We’ll see if it gets better once I make my move

The amazing Melissa from Mardi Gras told us (in December) that she will be on Pride next but I think she said she will be joining the ship in June. It would be the icing on the cake to be on Pride with her! 2

This itinerary looks awesome and I would love to hear how Pride looks after drydock. Especially since DH and I will be cruising on Pride Oct 2023😄 3

I guess you will be the first to experience it.
Rare TxTeach79 Posted March 15, 2023 Author #790 Share Posted March 15, 2023 Morning! I’m in no rush to get off with the first hordes here at 8:15. Don’t plan on 9 hours at the beach, so no sense in plowing through all that for the hope of a better beach chair I’ll only really use to hold my stuff. I’ll go early, but I’m at least gonna wait a bit. Clearance still isn’t expected for 45 minutes anyway

They just ripped out the casino bar on miracle (BOO) so besides that and maintenance I don’t know what to expect! Rare TxTeach79 Posted March 15, 2023 Author #800 Share Posted March 15, 2023 And we’re clear! About 20 minutes early. No sign of Pride yet. I’ll wait a few and head out. Not sure what my AT&T int’l day pass/beach wifi will bring, so if I’m silent for a bit you know why
