shepsm001 Posted March 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Not sure what to do, Just walk around and do some shopping and have a leisurely lunch or is the sightseeing worthwhile? If so, should we take a ship tour or rent a taxi or what? What restaurants with a nice view would you suggest? What specialty items do people buy? Any of your experiences would be helpful. dakrewser Posted March 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2006 We landed in Palermo on Christmas Day, so not a lot was open. Still, we took a ship's tour through the city and to nearby Monreale which was very interesting. rockinjo Posted March 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Haven't figured out what to do in Palermo yet. We're hoping to find something "off the beaten track" once we are on the ship. Will be glad to give you a report once we return at the end of June. Rockinjo
