Rare ontheweb Posted March 27, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) That is what I was told by a tech support representative when I called and then was called back a few minutes ago. Have others had problems with NCL on Microsoft? Mine did not have a problem until this weekend. (See the thread about 4 skipped ports that I started a few days ago to see the problem.) Rare All-ready2cruise Posted March 27, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2023 I don't have a problem with it on Chrome, Edge or Mozzilla Firefox. Have you cleared your history/cache?
julig22 Posted March 27, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2023 I started to have problems with Edge awhile back- I couldn't get to the NCL booking page, although I hadn't had problems in the past. Cleared the cache and it seems to work now.
Rare shof515 Posted March 27, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2023 Edge is based off of Chrome. if it works in chrome, then it works on edge
ChiefMateJRK Posted March 27, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2023 In all cases, when I've had a problem in Edge I get the exact same problem in Safari on my iPad.
Rare graphicguy Posted March 27, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2023 I don't have an issue with Safari or Firefox. Chrome on occasion gives me fits.
Rare luv2kroooz Posted March 27, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) Sounds to me like that support tech representative might have just wanted to get off the phone so it sounded like the right thing to say at the time. In reflection, the response isn't logical. Edited March 27, 2023 by luv2kroooz
WexIrl Posted March 27, 2023 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2023 Save yourself future hassle and use Chrome. IE and Edge were/are considered 2nd rate from a software development perspective (full stack devs will always code to the most popular platform (Chrome), which propagates out to the average user in the form of a frustrating online experience. zzdoug Posted March 28, 2023 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2023 I use edge and it's fine but slow to populate. I don't think it's the most well designed website.

(I had said to her while it still was not working right on my computer with Edge, it did work properly at a library computer with Firefox).
