Bestvalue82 Posted March 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2023 hi all Q about the terminal lot, it says Do you have parking at the terminal and how much does it cost?Parking is guaranteed upon your arrival. Parking is $25 per day, payable by cash or credit. Vehicles taking up more than once spot will be charged double. the parking is guaranteed part is odd as in parking lots have finite spaces. anyone ever run into a capcity issue? thanks

Mr. Green Posted March 28, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Our last visit to NJ we had an early check in. They directed us to the lot so you may not have the choice as I think it may have still been full from the previous passengers and reserve for Handicap. The lot is right across the street from the terminal so it is not a far walk. Drop your luggage off right in front of the terminal before you park. LB_NJ Posted March 28, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Sometimes you have to pay in advance by credit card. Leave some extra time
Merion_Mom Posted March 28, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Where you park depends on the month you are sailing. When there is only one ship using Cape Liberty cruise port (Anthem in the "winter"), everyone gets to park in the garage. Take your ticket with you, because you pay at the machine outside the garage after your cruise. If you are cruising at any other time, at least three ships are using Cape Liberty, and the garage is only for vehicles with handicapped plates/placards and for consecutive cruisers. Everyone else is directed to the surface lots. The one right across the street is not assured. Most people get directed to the one farther away. There is someone standing at the entrance with a handheld credit card machine. You pay then and there. There is a shuttle bus at the farther lot; many choose to walk. In either instance, it is best to drop off luggage and passengers before parking. 🙂
