Lazy in NC Posted March 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Is it possible to take a taxi from Piazzale Roma to the Tronchetto parking area to meet the cruise ship buses to Ravenna instead of taking the people mover? If this has been addressed, I apologize. I tried to search without success. Thank you!
euro cruiser Posted March 28, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2023 If you can get one to accept the short trip, it's only about a mile.

mapleleaves Posted March 28, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Tronchetto is an enormous parking lot, therefore accessible to cars, so a taxi COULD go there, but as eurocruiser said, they might not want to bother with such a paltry fare. I think the minimum fare is 10e so be sure to ask what they're going to charge you for that mile. This article indicates that vaporetto #2 stops at Tronchetto. Depending on where you're staying, perhaps that might be an option. Lazy in NC Posted March 29, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted March 29, 2023 Thank you! I didn’t realize it was so close. My husband has some mobility issues so was unsure how he would handle the people mover with luggage.
