Article I just read says ready for December 2023 for the new Carnival ship sailing from there. I doubt it will be completed by October.
LHARTWICK Posted May 22, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Pardon my ignorance, but is this the terminal that CCL currently uses? Thanks to the OP for the info link.
no1superfan Posted May 22, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2023 https://www.portofgalveston.com/80/Cruise-Lines-Schedules Looks like it is mostly used by Carnival. It also appears that the construction isn't stopping any cruises. CRUISE-CALENDAR-2023-Terminal-25.pdf
longhorn2004 Posted October 30, 2023 #6 Share Posted October 30, 2023 Most of the construction is out of sight of the customers. One can see the second gangway. Looking forward to see if the boarding and deboarding improves to Royal Caribbean speed when done. Have a soft spot for the old terminal, its where I took my first cruise from. Hope something is done for the vehicle traffic area out front. Using the word chaotic to describe it is being nice. 1
