Envelope21 Posted May 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2023 We are interested in back to back cruises; Vancouver-to-Anchorage, then Anchorage-to-Vancouver. I know the PVSA comes into play when starting and ending in two US ports. It seems like since these start and end with two Canadian ports (with US ports inbetween) that we would be ok. Any advice? neverlaysup Posted May 6, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2023 It's perfectly fine, we are booked on Millie doing just that.
Northern Aurora Posted May 6, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2023 We have done a B2B Seward to Vancouver to Seward with no issues.

Rare 1025cruise Posted May 7, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 7, 2023 The PVSA only comes into play when you start in one US port and end at a different one. Essentially you'll be doing a RT from Vancouver, so no issues. Where you need to be careful is with B2B on the repositioning cruises at the beginning and end of the season. seaworthy1 Posted May 7, 2023 #8 Share Posted May 7, 2023 How about this...R/T Boston/ Boston and then Boston to Miami? 21 days starting in Boston and ending in Miami.

That is allowed because the itinerary visits a DISTANT foreign port, one of the ABC islands. this fulfills the requirements of the PVSA for a trip which begins in one US port and ends in another US port.

I thought it was OK, but thanks for the clarification.
