Kay S Posted May 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2023 I heard that the beloved twice baked goat cheese souffle was removed from the regular MDR menu rotation and that it can only be ordered now in one of the speciality restaurants (which one). I hope this is not true and just a rumor. I know too many people who would be very sad if they can't get their goat souffle in the MDR anymore. Anyone else hear this? suekel Posted May 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2023 I had it last month on the Sapphire in the MDR and did not see it on either specialty menu. In fact, on the new menu, it is offered as a main course now instead of an appetizer. But you can still order it as an appetizer or order 2! 1

Crystabel Posted May 10, 2023 #7 Share Posted May 10, 2023 I saw a menu that showed it being offered as a main course at the Crown Grill. I don’t know how old or new the menu was.
Rare startedwithamouse Posted May 11, 2023 #8 Share Posted May 11, 2023 It was offered as a main course on Emerald recently. When did you last cruise @Kay S?
Rare BamaVol Posted May 11, 2023 #9 Share Posted May 11, 2023 My wife and I both ordered it in March on Caribbean Princess. I had it as an appetizer and she as an entree. Both were the same size (miniature). But I suspect mine was only baked once.
cruzsnooze Posted May 11, 2023 #10 Share Posted May 11, 2023 The changed it a bit. It's not baked in the au Gratin dish but like a flan on a regular round plate.
Rare Jeter02 Posted May 11, 2023 #11 Share Posted May 11, 2023 It's still around! Just not as an appetizer but instead it's an entree. But same exact sizes the appetizer. I've always loved it as it is a beloved dish. Decadent and rich but so delicious

We ate in Club Class, so maybe I missed it. As long as it tastes the same, the main dish or appetizer isn't a problem.
capriccio Posted May 11, 2023 #14 Share Posted May 11, 2023 It was on the regular menu on the Coral Princess last month. I’m pretty sure it was still listed as an appetizer. I know that was how we ordered it.
Rare Ombud Posted May 11, 2023 #15 Share Posted May 11, 2023 I had it as a main course on the Royal Princess last month, still in the gratin dish
