For background, that pottery shop was in Ravello. Wonderful, charming town among many along that scenic coast. Just for fun, here is another "eye candy" sample from my files for traveling along this area. As I recall, this is a luxury hotel with great views along this coast. What is not to love in this region?? Another dream destination- Ravello! Spent one day there and would love to go back. Italy is certainly photogenic.

Appreciate this encouragement and follow-up. We have not been to Zadar and Trieste, but can share more for historic and dramatic Dubrovnik. Below are some of my "eye candy" visuals to help build up the excitement for exploring there. More can be seen on the posted link shown below. Good luck for hitting Dubrovnik when this charming town is not over-run with too many visitors and cruise ships. Let us know any questions for Dubrovnik. THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio Dubrovnik! Visual samples, tips, details, etc., for this super scenic and historic location. Over 49,583 views. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1439227 We started with a local cab driver who gave us a “panoramic tour”, including driving up and up through narrow twisting roads to the high point overlooking Dubrovnik and near the cable car high station. From this point, we could also see part of Bosnia and and Montenegro. The “super star” view was down below with this angle of the harbor and walled city. Beautiful!!!: (Open your screen/viewer wider to see these visuals larger/better!) This is Dubrovnik’s Pile Gate as the grand western entrance to the walled city. Did the amazing Wall Walk for great views in and around Dubrovnik.: Here are just a few more example for a few more of what you can see and enjoy in Dubrovnik. Looking good?:
