MississippiMom Posted May 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2023 Anyone with recent experience attending a cooking class in Costa Maya? Preferably a non cruise ship excursion. We will be arriving in Costa Maya on a Monday at 1 p.m. on Carnival Valor.

I have looked at them and there are several. I think @island lady recommended one to me that she had done several times.

Not sure they are doing it any longer. Karlita and Otto have been spending a lot of time in the winter in NY, taking care of a friend's apartment and birds. We last saw them in November just before they left. It was only the two of us at the class and was like spending the afternoon with good friends (which they are).
Rare crewsweeper Posted May 23, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2023 I believe Lachilangaloense runs a Salsa and Salsa class but it's just how to make guac. They hjave offered a VIP and Cooking class in the past. You can contact them lachilangaloense.com.mx (webnode.es) But I think they use Viator to book their cruise excursions.

Thank you so much for this. I had come across the Viator listing and wasn't sure about it, since I was unfamiliar with booking any excursions through that site.
