GSPG Posted June 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2023 Something for next year, perhaps October but from the UK I was going look at combining both of these into 1 holiday. For the cruise, although I will be 62 then I wanted to experience a sailing on one of the RC mega ships before I get too old! Anyone have any tips, recommendations how I would go about booking this, what to look out for? Thanks

Tin can Posted July 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2023 With the cheap prices and ease of flying into New York from the UK we have done this many times. Personally I wouldn't book the whole trip with a travel agent, I would book the flights and hotel separately yourself. We are not London based so tend to fly Aer Lingus via Dublin which is excellent for New York as you clear US customs before you board in Dublin. From memory the flight time to Orlando is around 3 hours and the last time we did this a return flight was something like £120.00 and there is a good selection of flights from Newark and LaGuardia. Have a great trip.
akb5k Posted July 2, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 2, 2023 I would book the flight from NY to Florida for the day before the cruise- lots of flight delays on the East Coast, and that's also hurricane season.
rvlandandsea Posted July 2, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 2, 2023 You could sail on Oasis of the seas 7 nights from Port Liberty which goes to Florida and the Bahamas.

Izzywiz Posted July 2, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2023 Any UK travel agency will book a package for you to include flights, hotel, transfers and cruise. We often add days on….pre and/or post cruise…and sometimes both. We also book each aspect individually on occasions. Very easy to do.
