Experiences and tips planning a wedding on a Carnival ship?

Recommended Posts

Yes, we were married on the Glory this past February.  It was a very small group though (8 total, including us!) and we were married in port in New Orleans.  Honestly, they pretty much handled everything and it was super easy, which is what I was looking for lol.

Not sure if I have any tips or tricks, but I'll say depending on your plans, you don't have any control over the actual venue if married on the ship, so be prepared for that!  We were married in Bar Blue on the Glory, which maybe wouldn't work for everyone's tastes, but honestly we didn't care.

If you have any specific questions I could try to help, but if you're thinking large group, there are a lot of different options and like hors d'oeuvres that you get to select, but we didn't do any of that.
