Taclin01 Posted July 24, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2023 We are going on a three night cruise and I only have one cosmo a night, can I just pay the difference between the classic drink package nine dollar max and the price of the cosmo or would I get charged the full price of the cosmo? Thanks!

ymncruise Posted July 24, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2023 I’ve had cosmos that were within the drink package price. I didn’t order them at the martini bar though.
Taclin01 Posted July 24, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted July 24, 2023 Also, I just saw we both had to have the same package. One of us wanted the premium and the other was going to stay with the classic. Is there a discount for captains club members? And if we are also booking through blue chip? jelayne Posted July 25, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2023 You can get a standard size cosmo on the Classic package at most bars except the Martini at where they serve large martinis made with liquor on the Premium package .
CruiseCrew123 Posted July 25, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2023 You both have to buy the same drinks package
MisterBill99 Posted July 25, 2023 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2023 (edited) Just stay with the Classic and pay the overage on a per-drink basis. It works for the vast majority of passengers, unless you are planning to live at the Martini Bar. Also, even if you had to pay the full price of the Cosmo (and you don't, but if it were more than the limit), it still wouldn't be worth upgrading if you were only getting one per night. Thanks! I would not upgrade to the Premium Package. The Classic Package will get you that drink in nearly all lounges and bars with no add on $.
