VitaminSea53 Posted August 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2023 Can you order from the Main Dining room menu while in BLU on the Reflection?
jelayne Posted August 6, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2023 The kitchens are a way apart so with ships sailing full less likely. A waiter has to leave Blu ( aft deck 5 and go to deck2 mid ship) and return while other guests are waiting. However there are a number of items that while not on the Blu menu are available in Blu. The Classic items ( French onion soup, shrimp cocktail, Cesar salad. salmon, sirloin steak and chicken) are available. The children’s menu is also available and I have also gotten baked potato, French fries and extra vegetables.
VitaminSea53 Posted August 6, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted August 6, 2023 Thanks . I wouldn’t want the waiters to have to go so far out of their way but good to know that classic items are still available.

It's pretty much an every night thing. If that were to change, we'd be done with AQ. The kitchen distance on E Class between Luminae and Main is on reason we don't sail suites on E. Don't sail on E for a variety of reasons. On Summit one Luminae guest got all three menus each evening. M Class is the sweet spot for this since both Blu and Luminae were carved out of the original MDR.

When I was in BLU on the Constellation back in March, not even asking, the hostess when seating us gave us both the BLU & the MDR menus. I did not but my wife ordered off the MDR menu a few times with no long waits or difficulty. The waiters did not seem to mind. You won't have this issue being on a S Class ship, just curious, what would they do on the Edge Class ships where they have 4 Main Dining Rooms with different menus? The 2 times I sailed on Edge class ships, my waiters all said that if there was something on say the Normandie menu that I wanted in Cyprus for instance, that wouldn't be an issue. The 4 dining rooms are all next to (and/or above/below) each other and likely share kitchens for each pair. I think I did order something from one into a different one on Apex, and I know I did on Beyond. Edited August 6, 2023 by megr1125
