travellovers2 Posted October 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2023 Hello! We're looking at the Central Park cabins on Allure, but the only ones available now, for the sailing we're considering, are on deck 14. We already had the experience on another ship where we had cabins right below the pool deck area and were awaken in the early morning when staff was dragging lounge chairs around. How noisy are the Central Park area cabins below the pool area on Allure? Thank you for your help!

That may vary with exact location but you'll likely hear some noise during the day.

Starry Eyes Posted October 27, 2023 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2023 People on cruise critic generally warn others away from deck 14 on Oasis class ships due to nose concerns. I have noticed that not everyone is bothered. It might be the specific location. but I think some people are more sensitive to noise (or certain noises or noises at certain times) than others. We have been reasonably content in cabins that were reportedly too noisy for other people. We have not yet been on deck 14. We book a fair number of gty cabin, so it is apt to happen sometime. If you have been unhappy under the pool deck on other ships, you might want to avoid deck 14 on Oasis Class.
travellovers2 Posted October 28, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted October 28, 2023 Thank you for your replies. When we booked the cruise last night, they showed 3 cabins open on deck 11 so we were able to book a Central Park cabin. 🙂
