LAKaye Posted November 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2023 Hello HAL veterans! On the promenade deck of the Rotterdam and sister ships, are there any sections of the promenade with deck chairs to look out to the sea? Is it possible on any of the decks to go outside and face forward on the ship? I looked at deck plans, and I'm seeing it might be possible on Gershwin, Mozart, or Schubert deck. Is the deck above the Crow's nest available to passengers? Thank you~~ Leslie
AKJonesy Posted November 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2023 There are no deck chairs outside on the Promenade Deck on the Pinnacle ships. That is because the Promenade deck is shared with the lifeboats.

It tends to be very windy up there when the ship is moving - exercise caution! Sue/WDW1972

Access is restricted on these decks however the Captain may occasionally open the decks for “scenic cruising”. This photo was taken while we viewed the Pitons, St Lucia in February. It was the only time during the cruise these forward decks were open.
