Jeremiah1212 Posted November 6, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2023 You will switch you to prevailing rate so be mindful of potential loss of OBC and gratuities you may have had under your old rate.
39august Posted November 6, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2023 Yes, remember no gratuities are currently in the "inclusive" package.
mahasamatman Posted November 6, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2023 Make sure you call the right person. If you booked through a TA, call them. If you booked directly through Celebrity, call them.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted November 6, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 6, 2023 (edited) Personal experience and may be different from others. I Upgraded my Room (CS to RS) two weeks ago and after final payment. Rates in both had dropped dramatically after final. I had booked onboard originally. I was told on doing it I would loose the $800 OBC but would keep the Gratuities. How - and Why, I didn't loose both is beyond me. For me even loosing the $800 was worth it as the upgrade only cost me $450. The Move UP offer minnimum was 2,400 pp Edited November 6, 2023 by Jim_Iain
Rare CruisinShips Posted November 6, 2023 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2023 I just had the exact same experience upgrading from a SS to a CS after final payment date. Lost the OBC but kept the gratuities.

Give you an adjustment to your OBC.
