Finally It Has Worked

After 8 long months of not being able to access my booking and the Immigration Form I was finally able to login today.

There is a completely new login screen coloured a pale blue and for the first time since we booked the Veendam way back in July, I was able to see that we had the correct cabin number.

Thank you HAL for getting it finally up and running. :):)

I was able to login and fill out our immigration forms on Saturday. I've been too caught up in March Madness to remember to post about it.

Thanks for starting this thread so that the rest of the HAL board knows.

(Keith hangs his head in shame for not sharing the good news in a timely fashion.)

Jennie, I too had checked it and it seemed to be working well. I did not fill it out yet for my up coming Ryndam I thought I would wait till be got our Docs but I did also pull up our Veendam that we will be on with you for the first 4 days:) We are booked for a S Suite Guarantee from Vancouver to L.A. I had checked and the portion from L.A. on looks as though all the S Suite are sold so I figured that they might have assigned our cabin number but it still shows GUAR for cabin number.

I believe it still needs some tweaking. I did ours last week. First I did mine (after numerous tries and getting nothing but a white screen with the words "Immigration Form" on it.) Then it took another day before I could bring up the ones for my DW and MIL. But the express boarding passes are nice. We'll see in just over 5 weeks how that line moves in San Diego.

Interesting, Lisa. It never occured to me to book an "S" Guarantee. Have you done that before. We always have picked the "S" number we want and booked by number.....the location really does matter to us. It matters somewhat less on a "S" Class ship than a Vista though. On a Vista, I absolutely have to pick our cabin by number.

Sail, we too would prefer to pick our cabin number but with doing this 4 day Coastal that is actually the first 4 days of Aussie Gal's 34 day cruise they do not allow us a choice of S Suites. Because a bulk of the passengers will be embarking in Los Angeles for a 30 day cruise we will occupy their S Suite the 4 days prior leaving our of Vancouver. They only do it by guarantee allowing those that book the longer cruise to actually pick their cabin since they will be in them a lot longer. We were not concerned with a Guarantee on the Veendam since there really is not any bad location, granted some better than other but for 4 days it will still be great. Per HAL's website the S Suites are closed from Los Angeles so my guess we will be assigned one of the S Suite that some one will be getting that is boarding in L.A.So I would think that as soon as final payment is paid for those they can assign us our cabin number.

Thanks for explaining, Lisa. Makes perfect sense. Of course, the people who will occupy their suite for 30 days should be given the choice of location. I also agree the locations of all the "S" cabins on the S Ckass ships are fine.
