zanydoc Posted January 17 #1 Share Posted January 17 Hi cruise friends! We are sailing on our first Celebrity cruise, Apex in March and I was thinking I may need to make dining reservations for the complementary restaurants, but it says they are sold out! So…now what? Do we just walk up and put in our name like at a regular restaurant? Can we make reservations on board? Are we stuck eating at the buffet? Will we starve😂? Please advise! t00thpix Posted January 17 #2 Share Posted January 17 Relax! The reserved times have been taken, You can just show when ready to eat and there will be 2 lines, one for reservations and one for no reservation. my experience is that if you eat at a non prime time , you are quickly seated and many times there is no difference in length of line, If longer line they will give you a beeper
jelayne Posted January 18 #3 Share Posted January 18 They only pre reserve about half the seating, so they can accommodate walk ups. You can order any of the 4 MDRs “Exclusive Items” in any of the MDRs. So not matter which MDR you are in you can order from the others. The difference between them is decor and location.
zanydoc Posted January 18 Author #4 Share Posted January 18 Why thank you very much! I’m happy to hear all of this. We’ve been sailing mainly on Royal for the past 20+ years, so we really have no clue what we’re doing on this one, Lol! But looking very forward to a more adult experience!
