Hellow1984 Posted January 22 #1 Share Posted January 22 Are they metal, so you can attach magnets to them?

Dutchie20 Posted January 22 #3 Share Posted January 22 Hi, I have the same question for the Eurodam doors. Thank you.
Rare Haljo1935 Posted January 23 #4 Share Posted January 23 @Hellow1984 I took these pictures this month while on the K'dam showing both the cabin doors and bathroom doors are metal - they did a good job of holding magnets.

Petronillus Posted January 23 #6 Share Posted January 23 I think that all the walls hold magnets. I've stocked up in what look like colored buttons (blue, green, red) that the Dollar Store sells in quantities of eight.
OlsSalt Posted January 23 #7 Share Posted January 23 Those look like "rare earth" magnets which are very grippy and great for any of the metal walls, doors and ceilings we have run into on HAL ships, Regular magnets, refrigerator magnet type things have slide off the surfaces. But" rare earth" are so grippy they are sometimes hard to take off. We bring both "rare earth" hooks for clothes, jackets, hanging racks, shoes hanging in front of the A/C vent to dry out, toiletry kits off the bathroom ceiling, and buttons for hanging maps. regnig Posted January 23 #9 Share Posted January 23 Anyone know if the Rotterdam doors are magnetic? You'd think I'd know since I spend 21 days on her last year but at that time I didn't care.
